Service and sport · three years
A game does for a child what a model does for a market: it finds who was left out.
National-level basketball, badminton and tennis until a wrist diagnosis in Grade 9. The same year, I started designing games at Prayatna Foundation so children of every ability could play on balanced teams. Then I asked what happens to them when they grow up.

01 Prayatna Foundation, Kolkata
Adaptive sport for 400 children with disabilities, every week, and a co-lead role at Aashayein 2026 for 800.
Grades 10 to 12, three years
I design and adapt games so that children of every physical and cognitive ability can play on balanced teams, safely, and have fun. I set the rules, supervise, and change the formats from the players' own feedback. At Aashayein 2026, the foundation's flagship event for nearly 800 children, I co-led 20 volunteers, ran the venue and food distribution, and when a crowd bottlenecked at the lunch counters, split it into small, fast-moving groups.

02 Employment
Three letters of intent from employers, and an employment platform donated to the Academy of Skill Development.
Researching what happens to the children I coach when they grow up, I found both jobs and loans were hard to get. I built an employment aggregator to connect candidates with employers and approached companies directly. A meeting with Wow! Momo led to a proposal for structured kitchen roles with visual instructions. When they agreed to explore it, two more companies followed. In August 2026 I donated the platform and my translator app to the Academy of Skill Development, which will onboard its partners onto it.
The loan half of that question became a paper: Algorithmic credit scoring and disability-correlated exclusion.
03 Sport
National-level basketball, badminton and tennis until Kienböck's disease ended competitive play. Then captain anyway.

I competed at national level in three sports from Grade 6 to 9. Kienböck's disease, a wrist condition, stopped that. I stayed as school tennis captain for three years, and have played and captained in the UPL cricket league for six, with best-batsman awards and a most-valuable-player prize. The adaptive-sport work began the same year the diagnosis did.
